Australian corporate training to the world

Workspeak Pty Ltd, the Australian corporate training group, has today announced a contract to provide inter-personal communication workshops in Cambridge, UK for Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH). Britain's largest Chartered Surveyors and commercial property consultants, LSH retains a professional staff of over 600 in 33 offices throughout the UK and Western Europe.

In announcing the contract, to commence in November this year, Mr Paolo Cardelli, a director of Workspeak Pty Ltd, noted that this would be his company's first foray into the European corporate training market. "It is a very exciting time for us, with other discussions now taking place with UK and Asian multi-nationals expected to lead to more work outside Australia" he said.

Workspeak has quickly established an impressive list of Australian corporate clients since commencing one-day presentation skills workshops in 2001. "Much of our success relates to the right product being offered at the right time. The world is moving towards more remote forms of communication, like e-mail, text messaging and chat rooms, but employers now regard face-to-face, inter-personal communication skills as a much needed priority. Our workshops tackle this issue head-on in a highly practical environment", said Mr Cardelli.

The Adelaide based corporate trainer has appointed a UK agent for Western Europe and plans to open offices in Sydney and Melbourne early in 2004.
